When investigating our new topic the children discovered that Brazil produces a lot of cacao beans. They had to find and label Brazil and other countries of the world. Here is an example.

As part of our topic work the children had to identify and compare the physical features of The United Kingdom and Brazil. Their challenge was to say what is the same and what is different between the two countries. Here is an example.

Oak Class visited a chocolate workshop, on Wednesday 12th October 2016, provided by Chocolate by Design. The chocolatier Derek and his team taught us all about the science, history and geography behind chocolate. The children really enjoyed their day and came home with some chocolate goodies that they had made.
