Spring 2 Topic: Down at the Bottom of my Garden

This half term our new topic is Down at the Bottom of my Garden. This topic has a big science focus which helps us learn about plants, trees and animals.

At the start of the topic we ask the children what they already know about our new topic and what they would like to find out.  At the end of our topic we ask the children to record what they have learnt. Here is an example.

We carried out a science investigation to find out how much water a plant needs to be able to grow and stay healthy. We watered one plant with a jug of water each day, one with a beaker of water each day and one plant we didn't water at all.
